Yulia Muravyeva is an artist of Russian origin who started developing her prodigious talent for design and painting as a child. As her dazzled parents looked on, she set to work in these two arts with energy. In addition to her innate talents, the young woman was also fascinated by colors and began playing with them to mix surprising shades.
In 2000 she settled in Amsterdam and took a new step in her career by restoring paintings of icons. However, her taste for colors soon caught up with her. Since that time, her works have little by little acquired a modern touch.
She swaps historical characters for colorful floral landscapes. With the aid of acrylic and canvas, she paints bouquets that melt into wide prairies.
Whether dark or luminous, her horizons are all painted in combination of unusual and surprising colors. Breathtaking and gracious flowers are produced by playing with materials, including the canvas.
Through carefully mixing colors, this master painter endows each painting with a unique sky. A sheer delight for the eyes, Muravyeva's works are outstanding due to their singularity and their aura of peace and quiet.
Her main ambition today is to transmit her positive energy by showing spectators her world vision, symbolized by joy and perfect happiness.
